Beavers are one of nature's most industrious creatures. Join Walking Mountains Science Center for educational activities and an approximately 2-mile round-trip walk to a beaver pond to observe an active lodge, followed by dinner with fellow conference attendees in Vail Village.

Pick-up: 4:55-5:10 p.m.

Beaver Pond Tour: 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Dinner: 7:15-8:15 p.m. (cost of meal is separate)

Drop-off: 8:30 p.m.

• Reservations required. Price does not include the cost of the meal. 
• Transportation to and from the Westin Riverfront in Avon is provided by Walking Mountains Science Center.
• Family-friendly and suitable for most physical abilities. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• This program runs rain or shine. Please come prepared to spend an hour and a half outside in a variable environment. Sturdy shoes and a jacket or extra layer are recommended. 
• Dinner at TBD restaurant(s) will begin at 7:15pm (not included in price). Anticipated return to Avon at approximately 8:30PM.
• Please call Walking Mountains Science Center (970) 827-9725 if your plans change so that we may accommodate other attendees. There is a $5.00 cancellation fee. To earn a partial refund, please contact us no later than 2:00pm.
