Together we will hike to an alpine area in Eagle County and use iNaturalist to make observations of the flora (plants) that occur there. Our observation will contribute to the Colorado Alpine EcoFlora Project and help with alpine plant conservation. Come and enjoy being out in the mountains and contributing to a deeper scientific understanding of the alpine places we all enjoy.
Hikes are 5-10 miles and strenuous, spending multiple hours in harsh, high alpine zones (10,000 ft+)
