    Near Red Cliff

    It's one of the most classic loop hikes in the area. We will hike Fancy Lake to Fancy Pass to Missouri Lakes and back to the trailhead.

    10 miles roundtrip/3,000 ft. elevation gain
    Near Minturn

    A challenging hike above 13,000'; Our biggest hike of the year! Expect incredible views and an early start.

  • Full Day 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
    6 miles roundtrip/1,900 ft. elevation gain
    Near Homestake

    Hike to a lake with views over the Homestake Valley.

    8 miles roundtrip/2,500 ft. elevation gain
    Near Eagle

    Mt. Thomas hikes through a fire scar and offers views of at least 4 mountain ranges!

    Near Homestake

    Mulhall lakes isn't a popular hike, but that's fine with us!

    Near Camp Hale

    A steady, but not too steep, climb up the Colorado Trail brings us to big views of the 10 Mile / Mosquito Range.

    Near Edwards

    A beautiful loop that travels through an aspen forest and open meadows. It will likely offer some good fall colors!

    5-8 miles roundtrip/1,000-2,000 ft. elevation gain

    We'll be keeping an eye out on the aspen trees and choose a great hike with yellow leaves!

PLEASE NOTE: Start and end times are approximate. Approximate start and end times will fluctuate based on weather, hiking pace of the group, etc. Your guide will send you an email the day before with exact start and estimated end time informed by weather, drive time, etc. 

Start time: Time you need to be at Walking Mountains Avon Campus to take transportation to the trailhead. Start times may be subject to change.

End time: Indicates time you should be back to your car at Walking Mountains.
